Bible-Based, Christ-Centered ministry focused on helping others handle life.

Brothers and Sisters in Christ, I want you to know you are NOT alone.  Just a few years ago I felt like my life was literally falling apart. I was stressed out and anxious all the time.  My life was full-on conflict and I worried about everything, all the time.  I was constantly looking for happiness and stability but ending up with misery and headaches.

I wasn’t a bad person by worldly standards.  I wasn’t out getting drunk or cheating on my wife but I knew God had a calling on my life and I had chosen to walk the opposite direction.  I was suffering from the Modern Day Jonah Syndrome.

Are you suffering from the Modern Day Jonah Syndrome?

Probably so.  Why?  Simple.  God calls every Christian to do His will.  At this point, we have 2 options: obey Him or ignore Him.  When we choose to ignore Him we are applying our own wisdom.  Per James 3, when we apply our own wisdom we create all kinds of chaos in our lives.

Why did I ignore God's call?  Well, you see, I simply didn’t want to give God control because I wanted to maintain control of my life.  I didn’t want to subject myself to a bunch of "laws and rules."  I wanted stability; I wanted balance; I wanted control; I wanted happiness; I just wanted to be able to relax on a Saturday afternoon and not be consumed life.  Then the truth hit me, and it hit me hard.  My life wasn't even close to what I wanted.  Question: Why are you ignoring God's call?

The day I admitted that fact is the day I started striving to allow God to control my life.  You know what?  The more control I give to God, the more control of my life I get.  I know, it doesn't make sense, unless you have experienced it.

Friend, please know I'm not here to judge or condemn.  I'm here because God has laid this ministry on my heart.  Please know, I argued with God because I didn't want to share my failures and short-comings with others.  It's embarrassing.  However, when I was there I felt along. I had so many conflicting feelings, emotions and thoughts running through my head.

The thought of coming back to God was overwhelming.  Thankfully, a Godly friend helped me.  He listened to me, he talked with me, he shared scriptures with me and he didn’t judge me or tell others of my struggles.  That's the purpose of Handling Life.  To help others through a Bible-Based, Christ-Centered program.

I truly wish I had taken these steps many years ago.  I could have personally avoided numerous problems, but I could have also spared those around me the turmoil caused by my life.  So, please don’t delay in turning back to God and obeying Him.

To assist you in the process, I've created numerous tools that you will find on the website menu.  So, start the process today and please let me know if I can assist you in any way!  Trust me, you will NOT be disappointed in what God does in your life.

All the best,

Nathan Tabor
